Does making sure the "scale strokes" submenu on the "Transform" palette is checked solve the problem?
I appreciate the advise however, my problem isn't solved.
The issue here is not about inserting and/or extracting pages.. The problem here is about getting pages to flow IN NUMBERICAL ORDER upon insertion..
In other words, in Acrobat 5, I can add a range of pages, let's say Page #20 through...
Am I the only one who prefers Acrobat 5 over 6 or 7?
When adding multiple pages to a .pdf file all at one time in Acrobat 6, I can't get them to flow into the existing document in numerical order. I'm able to successfully do this in 5.

First, it helps if your linked or embedded images (if in color) are cmyk or spot, and not rgb. Might help to make sure your "Transparency Blend Space" is set to CMYK as well.

I use Windows 2000. I recently installed the Adobe Creative Suite (CS), which includes Photoshop. InDesign and Illustrator work fine, but Photoshop CS quits on startup!

I believe this may be a "system font" problem.. Certain base fonts are required to enable proper palette display, and other menu text.. Try looking at your system fonts, probably TrueType fonts in your Windows font folders.. Do you have Adobe Type manager? Check to see which fonts...
