We are working on having backup Satellite phones available to our management in the event of a disaster. Does anyone else keep these on hand and if so do you have a recommendation for phone type and company to procure from?
thank you.
I get the same reports from one of my agents. She said that on certain calls she only gets 2 rings and then it puts her phone into Aux-work. It only happens on some calls, not all of the time. I have not been able to figure out why. They are only in one skill/one hunt group.
Below is a status during a call, I copied all 5 pages of the status

Yes and works fine until one day it just dies. But since I've had so many reports in the past two months I'm just wondering if something could be triggering the mic to "blow out" or is it normal for the mic to wear out after about 5-7 years.
I should add, the speaker works and you can hear the other person but they cannot hear you. So it actually may be a microphone issue. (The mute button is not on) thank you.
We have had an influx of people reporting that their speakerphone has stoped working on 6408d+ set. The phone sets have been in place for about 5 years and I got about 10 reports last month of phones needing to be replaced because their speaker stopped working. Is it common for the speakers to...
Thanks, yes I can get it to work with the feature codes. I wanted them to get the visual light and I agree that it probalby doesn't work so that users get the IP Agent. I just thought it odd that it works for some and not others, which led me to belive maybe there was some way to get it to...
I'm searching for info on using the auto-in button in One X Communicator.
The only thing I found was this post stating that they don't get their Aux-work button in One X. Oddly enough,we do get Aux-work to show up in One-x communicator. And in our old version of softphone Auto-in would show up...
IP softphone is the old version and the new version you probably want to use is called One X communicator.
The first thing you want to do is check how many licesnes you have. For softphone we only had 5 free licenses that came with our system. But now that we use One X communicator we have...
Is there a way for me to create a paging zone that will page thru the phones and overhead at the same time?
Also from what I read it sounds like I can only have 32 phones in the group-page is that correct?
thanks!
We are considering adding video conferencing at our office.
just wondering what other's are using and if you have a good experience with a particular brand of equipment.
doesn't necessarily have to be an Avaya solution, but we do have communication manager/G650 cabinets.

Can we limit the time on a meet me conf. vdn/vector?
We have had instances where a user didn't disconnect and got billed for a 15 day call as the bridge kept the call active, the call originated thru our 800# number.
thanks.
We have a user that uses the AWH55+
From what I have heard she should hear a beep in her ear when not at her desk so she can remote answer.
She does not get any beeping in the ear when her phone is rining, any suggestions?
THanks!
is anyone using the new OSPC softconsole?
We were just about to purchase IP softconsole and then came across the end of sale. the new recommendation is OSPC, just wondering if it is reliable or if anyone has any experience with it.
Thanks!
Thanks for all the help, we have received teh AWH55+.
Does anyone know if you can have it ring in the earpiece if you are not at your desk?
She is able to answer remotely no problem, but it only rings on the phone, so if she's not at her desk, she doesn' know it is rining.
thanks.
