Headset question: AWH55+.

We have a user that uses the AWH55+
From what I have heard she should hear a beep in her ear when not at her desk so she can remote answer.

She does not get any beeping in the ear when her phone is rining, any suggestions?

It depends on the integration to the phone...

What phone type do you have?

6400 series phones need to have a special adapter to get the calls to work and they require a ring detector to be placed over the speaker on the phone. The ring detector plugs into the bottom of the wireless base unit.

4620 and 4621 phones have a great integration that requires nothing...I use it and love it...

She has the 6416D+M
The remote answer works fine w/o a lifter she just isn't getting the beeping tone.

Do you have the little black self sticking ring detector attached to the speaker of the phone? Is the volume for the ring up loud enough for the ring detector to sense it? Is it plugged into the bottom of the wireless base in the right place?

Also make sure that the headset battery is fully charged.
