Ah yes, of course. I should have thought of that. That's the same as selecting a group of files when using Windows Explorer - 'Shift' for first and last of a group, 'Ctrl' for random selection of several at a time.

Guidos - I did exactly what you said,using Explorer, but there is no option in the drop-down menu to label the floppy, well, not in my system anyway. I tried my son's computer (Win98) and it works fine.
There must be some setting that's not right.

The LABEL command should enable me to change or delete the volume label on a floppy disk. It works fine on my 486 running Windows 95, but when I try to do this on my Pentium III running Win98 ME it comes back with "Error deleting volume label"
