Hi there, would anyone have any good suggestions on where to find benchmarks, white papers, or studies on telephony platform consolidation on a regional level? I'm looking for concrete numbers on FTEs, suggested process and management changes, etc. Thanks!

    JITC certification

If a PBX is MLPP capable, but does not have the feature enabled, is it considered JITC certified? The JITC descriptions below seem a bit cryptic. Thanks! SMEO (Small end office): SMEO technology is based on a commercial Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) with Multi-Level Precedence and...

    MLPP history

Hrm, maybe I'm not asking the correct question then. 1. When did Avaya start including MLPP in software releases? 2. What's the difference between a special feature and RTU? Thanks!

Could anyone enlighten me as to what software release MLPP started showing up as a RTU? Thanks.

    Seeking 5E maintenance schedules

Yes, unfortunately, what I'm looking for is restricted to customers currently under maintenance support and resellers, of which I am neither.

    looking for replacement IVR system

Took a look, it looks like Periphonics' IVR/CTI products are only compatible with Nortel and Meridian PBXs. Specifically, something that can accept policy number entries then run data dips into an AS/400 system then respond with the account information. Anything else would be a an added plus.

    Call Acounting Software

We're currently using WinCall Access based, very simple to use. I would suggest against using Infortel-NT. We used that at the last company I was at, and you had to manually enter every entry which makes for a provisioning and licensing nightmare.

    looking for replacement IVR system

I'm currently running a Definity G3si R11 and Octel 200 with a VMX Works IVR. I need a replacement IVR system for Works but am not sure where to start. Since the Octel hardware is set to sunset in 5 years, I would prefer to not upgrade to Octel Designer. Would love to hear your suggestions...

    Sending DID over PRI

I've tried this on my SBC PRI with no luck, any other suggestions? When I run test calls and call an extension locally, I'm showing the name of the trunk and the TAC code for the trunk. When I call people at home, I'm getting main #'s for the trunk group. Thanks!

    replacement for IVR

Jay: That would be very helpful! Which solution did you decide on and why (in comparison to the other product)? How smoothly did the integration procedure go? How long have you been running the new solution? Now that you've been using the new product for awhile, which features do you wish...
