This sounds like an authentication issue for your outgoing SMTP server. Go into your email settings and check the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and then select the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" radio button. I had this same issue and it fixed the problem...
The user failed to tell me he was using a wireless router. I had him plug directly into the modem and he is now able to stay connected. Thank you for your help and suggestions.

Well, we can considered this a closed case. I took the advice of a few of you and found a "dumbed-down" PCL 4 driver. Worked like a charm. Although, I did look into Thinprint because of all of this and I have to say I am impressed with it. Nice product.

The clients are Windows XP. I am sure the drivers are fine. I am starting to wonder about the printers themselves. Is it possible for printers to not be compatible with TS. The printers in question are Brother 1140. Any help is much appreciated.
