    DDionne, you're right, that's what it was, the digital ext. rings setting has to be less than GD MB (AA).     Yes, it's appear and ring which works fine when a call is coming in, but when it goes to vmail it goes to the general mailbox instead of the individual mailbox of the digital ext it appears & rings on. I'm sure it's going to be some silly setting I'm missing right now.

    for the trunk line, it is private to digital ext, prime set is the digital ext and clid set is the digital ext.

    senk1s, I tried the loopback (I'm guessing that's what the U turn button is for) but it didn't help, I called sbc and reported trouble on the t1/pri and that's what it turned out to be, back in business, hawks and senk1s, thanks for pointing me in the right direction

    Nothing crazy as far as the req'ed programming, I just need the standard analog ports (no MWI). Bottom port is used for NVM mod, next one up is open so I'm gonna use that one. Thanks again
