Excellent zbnet, thats saved a very long manual task ! FYI - it wasn't deleting entire DL membership, just about 200 or so members from a 4000+ DL ~DEL worked a treat Thanks again !

I deleted the contents of Members field, used the mode value of Update and selected Overwrite for multi-valued fields. Perhaps a delete of the Members field is not good enough? Maybe a null or space is required instead? (Thanks for the prompt reply - by the way)

Does anyone know how to remove members from a DL using Directory Import? We have about 500 hidden users who still belong to a companywide DL. I exported them using Directory Export and modified the Members field. But when I imported the csv file it did not remove the entry. What have I done...

oh - I've even tried setting the "Run This Program" to calc.exe and that doesn't work either.... so doesn't that rule out errors in my batch file?

Thanks Mark - I just tried that and it didn't work for me... the batch file I'm running is... cmd.exe net send sys01330 "Check Work Queue" again the entry was wriiten to application log so I know it's tripping? Any more ideas?

We have a delegate who can create new contacts for her boss but when the delegate views them (has access to mailbox from her profile) she can not see new ones just old contacts, but the boss can see all new and old contacts? Any ideas, very confused as nothing has changed as far as we're aware?

I was going to say that we'd prefer them not to be hidden so that we can log onto the mailbox directly so as to test sending external smtp messages from each of the four servers. Unhiding a mailbox takes a while vefore it's "known" to all servers. Having said that I just logged onto the mailbox...

couldn't you stop the IMS service? or set the transfer mode on the connections tab on the IMS properties?

Our last fix from MS took store.exe to v5.5.2657.74 - fix called Exchange5.5-KB829418-x86-enu.EXE
