Recently installed one-x Portal on the same server as Voicemail PRO (Windows 2008R2).
No issues installing or getting it setup.
When used in Chrome or IE the status doesn't change for the users listed in the Directory window.
Any ideas?
I followed the documentation and checked all security...
Okay, so I installed one-x Portal 9.0.5.0 build 5 on the same Windows server as Voicemail is running on. (Windows 2008 virtual)
Had to set onexportal to port 8088.
When using Chrome (latest available) as a user, the Consult and Transfer keys are greyed out in the calls window.
However you can...
another point - since they are on the same server I would assume that the default port 8080 for one-x Portal should be changed to something like 8088 (it's available) since web voicemail is using port 8080.
Additional information
If I leave off the localstat.asp from the url and just put in http://vmail I do get the IIS7 screen splash
If I put in http://vmail/voicemail I do get the web voicemail logon screen
On page 17 of Implementing one-x Portal I have followed the Voicemail Server Requirements but have some questions.
Currently version 9.0 SP5 VM Pro is running on a Windows Enterprise Server with Web Voicemail installed and working.
The server has IIS7 Manager installed as well as IIS6.
My...
Yes. Avaya's policy is to support N-1 on releases. So if they stay with what they have done in the past, 9.0 will be supported when 9.1 is available with support ending after another new release such as 9.2 or 10.0 or whatever is after 9.1. Support will probably end for 8.1 after 9.1 is...
In the situation I upgraded, they wanted to be able to have voicemail to e-mails sent over TLS (secure) and also wanted to implement one-x portal. They had the license to upgrade to 9.0 and there were some issues with DTMF on PRI in 9.0.4 so that's the reason I went with 9.0 SP5. So far so good.
I just upgraded last Saturday from 8.1.69 to 9.0 SP5 with a PRI and the customer hasn't had any issues,, but they are forcing outbound by way of ARS as they don't want the individual DID numbers going out.
Well in case anybody was wondering I figured it out.
I modified the VM Pro installation and removed the Web Voicemail portion. Re-installed the Web Voicemail again and just had to start the W3SVC service on the server and got a logon screen. I don't have any users licensed for Teleworker or...
Update. It looks as though PHP didn't install correctly. Can I just install it from the installer in the php folder on the VM PRO disc? Or should I perform a modify of the Voicemail PRO installation?
Have an IP500v2 running 9.0.5.0 build 972 (9.0 SP5) with Voice Mail PRO running on a Windows Server 2008. I can't seem to get the UMS Web Voicemail to work and have tried about everything. When I am in the IIS Manager I can browse the Default Web Site and see the IIS7 screen. However when I...
I believe this is a new option in R9.1. The ability to setup buttons for MW indication for other mailboxes. You could always wait and sell them an upgrade. But be careful, it will probably "break" 10 other things.
I have done this for a customer that had a remote building. We used a point-to-point wireless setup and a small Netgear PoE switch at the remote building. There used to be an Avaya Tech Tip that showed using D-Link AP's in a point-to-point bridge mode to connect an IP set where there wasn't a...
After a call is completed sometimes the analog trunks will not disconnect. They will stay in an off-hook state. If you make a test call to an extension that is forwarding to an outside number, you should see the call progress on your second analog trunk (assuming it's available at the time)...
With ADSL it's the upload side that typically give you problems. A lot of them are under 1Mbps usually around 512kbps steady where we are at. I have done it before with several small sites back to one central site over ADSL. 4 of the remote sites were all the same service provider and worked...
What should be installed first? VM Pro or one-x? That's a question I've been asked before. I would install VM PRO first and make sure it's running well.
Have 1 - IP500v2 control unit with LAN 1 on VoIP VLAN and LAN 2 on DATA VLAN
Windows Server 2008 R2 is hosting the Voicemail PRO and the Server itself has 2 NICS - one on the VoIP VLAN and one on the DATA VLAN
2 - remote IP500v2 units connected to central site over branch office VPN - VoIP...
Thanks Westi. I agree with that I guess. I haven't had really any issues with 9.0.3 on any of our other systems, but I'll try the latest first.
The part I hate is the digital phones (1408 & 1416) sets downloading their firmware. - Takes forever. This customer has a mix of digital and IP - I...
