On page 17 of Implementing one-x Portal I have followed the Voicemail Server Requirements but have some questions.

Currently version 9.0 SP5 VM Pro is running on a Windows Enterprise Server with Web Voicemail installed and working.

The server has IIS7 Manager installed as well as IIS6.

My questions are on the Enable Direct Metabase Edit - do I just enable this through the IIS6 Manager?

IIS6 Configuration Compatibility - Not sure where this is?

When browse to on the server, I get the HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found.

the requested url is: Physical Path is: D:\inetpub\
Under my Sites in IIS Manager I have 3
Default Web Site
IPphone (this site is for the IP phone files)
web voicemail

I see the the following virtual directories under the Default Web Site
/namesgreetings
/personalgreetings
/Voicemail
/voicemailaccounts
/webvoicemailcommonwavs

I haven't installed the one-x Portal yet. Want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row.

Thanks for any tips.

another point - since they are on the same server I would assume that the default port 8080 for one-x Portal should be changed to something like 8088 (it's available) since web voicemail is using port 8080.

Just install One now :)
And yes you should use port 8080.
Don't worry, just do it.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

You could even be so bold as doing a Hyper-V "Application Server" install.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Did you install it already?

Okay, so I installed one-x Portal 9.0.5.0 build 5 on the same Windows server as Voicemail is running on. (Windows 2008 virtual)

Had to set onexportal to port 8088.

When using Chrome (latest available) as a user, the Consult and Transfer keys are greyed out in the calls window.
However you can complete a Consult or blind transfer if it's to a user by selecting them in the directory window.

Also the status of a user isn't reflected in the Directory window for instance if they have DND activated. But it will show it for the user themselves if you add them to their own Personal tab in the Directory window.

Pull-down "Presence" option is not there either at the top of the page.

Testing from IE 10: Same results as in Chrome however the "Presense" pull-down option at the top of the page does work.

Firefox (latest available) Same results as IE.

Any ideas on the issues?

Merry Christmas to all
