Yes legal documents, etc., are in place. However, this is a hospital where some of the patients have been dialing 911 instead of hitting the nurse call button.
I understand the risks, however, this is what they want to do. I looked at the alert, but they do not want the call going out, they want it rerouted to their internal security department.
I know I can build vectors to do create menus, however, what is the preferred method of routing a call to the voicemail system to receive treatment there? I tried programming a phone with a coverage path of 1 ring and it gets there, but it takes a phone license to do so.
I was told you can...
Yes, that is exactly what we are trying to do. We used an access code on the trunk group of 39.....how do we differentiate between the outside calls (on the Nortel it would be the 9+ dialing going to the PSTN) and the actual extension to extension dialing. If we preprend a 9 to send to the...
Has anyone done coordinated dialing with a CS1000 and Shore-Tel? I have a site that doesn't have any local trunks so are using the same trunk group to do coordinated dialing and also make the outbound calls.
OK, I will make it a bit more basic, can we put a call forward key on it? Same situation, it allows us to, but it never actually appears on the phone. But we can use a FAC code with the same phone to enable call forward.
Thanks, we are using those features, but the team button doesn't appear when it is put on the phone. It was programmed under managed users in the system manager, and you can see the button in the Communication Manager, but it doesn't show up on the phone.
It appears that there aren't many of the regular phones features when these phones go SIP vs VoIP. TEAM and bridged appearances don't seem to appear on feature buttons, and basic features such as call forward seem to only work if I use an FAC code to activate the feature. Anyone have experience...
Depending on the release of software, we were able to do a TCP/IP connection to gather CDR record. However, that was made to run with OTM/TM, both products are MD/EOL. You would need to know the 'hooks' that Nortel put in to get that data from the PBX to the server/PC which has the software...
Creating the TTY port will output the CDR data to the port, you still need something on the other side to capture the data, typically some sort of Call Accounting software.
