hello

I have a question. For every route din our PBX CS1000E the TARG configured is 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08. Can I modify this series of numbers ? Let's say I want to add 09 10... to have more TGARs for the phones
Where this modification can be done?
 
Print in LD 21

Then change in LD 16, the TARG prompt.

So, if I want a terminal to use a certain route with TGAR 9 I have to modify the TARG for the rest of the routes adding 9 to the list and only the route I want to use to put 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ?
 
I wonder if you've got it ?

You see TARG is the Route and TGAR is the Phone, so if they match you have the restriction on
dialling that particular Route's Access Code 'ACOD'

yes ,i knew that. My problem is that I have 3 routes and same TARG on them. One route is from one provider and others from another provider. I want to change the TARG on one of them to force the call to go that provider.
 
Remove the TARG entry on the route by preceding it with an X
 
I would use BARS for this. Nobody should ever have to dial a route access code directly.

Never come across TGAR/TARG used for call routing ?

with BARS, as far as I know, you have to dial a general access code AC1. I do not want to do that because I only have 1 E1 to play with so if I have more than 30 calls at the same time the access code will use an alternate route to place the outbound call and it will use another provider E1 trunks with different numbering plan. i want that all calls will use the same CLID.
What I have in mind is to use 30 terminals ( in my case 30 M2616 sets) to witch I set a TGAR let's say 9 and the route witch has only one DCH the TARG 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8.
The problem is that all the routes are defined with combination of 8 numbers(1 2 3 4 5 6 7, 2 3 4 5 6 7, 1 3 4 5 6 7 an so on)
If I want to use TGAR 9 for that sets it is necessary to change the TARG on all the routes?
 
This is really very simple, if the TARG on the route matches the TGAR on the phone then it will be restricted.
 
Wouldn't it be simpler just to use RLI's with all the routes in them and use the appropriate NCOS levels....
 
If you use BARS, check for TGAR in LD 86 - ESN. For YES, you can setup the TGAR = TARG, on the route you want to restrict the access.

so you say it it is easier to create a BARS access code than to change the TARG on all routes?
I didn't set BARS so far , but I will read about it and see if I get it.
 
If the user use AC1 or AC2 to make an outgoing calls, that means the user uses BARS feature, so what BARS access code do you need to configure?
 
You can use tagr along with Bars. It comes in handy when you have 3 or more customers using the same attendant but still need their own set of trunks. TARG - yes tells the system to also look at the trunk goup access restrictions.

It seems that with BARS you can create only 2 access codes. These codes are already used for something else.
So, we decided to use the access code for the route with the appropriate TARG/TGAR.
