Agreed. A few years ago, everyone had a router then the firewall. The main reason for that was, most of the internet connections were BRI, T1, or fractional T1. You typically needed something other than a firewall to terminate the internet connection to. Now, that same router could have been...
I was running c2600-ipvoice-mz.123-8.T5.bin but it does not support BGP. c2600-ipvoice-mz.123-1 and up to 123.2T9 does support BGP but anything new than that does not. I just cannot find an old copy of the ipvoice software. If I upgrade to spservices or just about anything else, the nm-hdv2...
Well, neither one of those will support the nm-hdv2 card. After installing them and rebooting, I do a show diag and the card in that slot is unknown. More options would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has an older 2620xm ip voice package they could get to me, that would be great.
Thanks...
Guys, I need some help please. I was upgrading my routers this weekend to new MPLS circuits running BGP. My ios on the routers does not support BGP. I downloaded spservices and installed it, but it did not support the nm-hdv2 module in the routers going to the phone switch. I am going to catch...

Not real sure what happened but all my users lost access to the server so, I rebooted. After rebooting, it takes forever (10 minutes) preparing network connections and then I logon. After logon, explorer starts and then dies. I never get a desktop and my users still cannot connect. I can open...

I am trying to setup iis personal web server in XP Pro to do authentication. I want to have users login to the web site but only get to the folder that belongs to that site. If they try to login to a different folder on the same web aite they should not be able to get in. Any help would be...
Within IIS you can create a redirector, so that when the goto http://server.domain.com it weill redirect them to the http://server.domain.com/exchange
Once you create the new web, goto properties of that web and click the home directory link. There is an option to redirect to a URL. There ya...
Are you really sure you are not an open relay. With that many emails in the queue it makes you wonder. Anyway, if you shut down all your exchange services and delete the messages in the \Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\Queue
and in the badmail folder at the same time. ANY MAIL THAT HAS NOT...
I've had a problem similar to this with 2003 server. If I assigned a static ip to the server, I could not ping it, but if I assigned a DHCP Address to it I could, I created a DHCP Server and set a reservation for the servers and all is ok. Still don't know why it was doing it to begin with...

If you can, get a 2621 or equivilent. This router has 2 ethernet ports on it and you can then route between them. If you want to connect the 2 routers and pretend they are across a T1, then get 2 Wic1T cards a 2 cables, one dce and one dte and connect them, you can then pretty much simulate a...
