Hi All,
In Esker SmarTerm 16, does anyone know a way to open a variable-named capture file using a Smarterm Macro?
basically I want to open capture files named 'host-timestamp.log'
but even when using something simple like this:
Fname="Test.txt"
retval =Session.Capture(Fname)
It fails to...
couldnt you use the line ' external phone number mask' and alerting settings to deliver the common number visually, rather than actually changing their number with a transform? then internal and external callers would still get the common number, but their actual number wouldnt be changed so...
Hi.
This is more of a hybrid question than specifically call manager - so Im not entirely certain this is the best place to post it. Please provide guidance if not.
Our platforms are UCCE 11.6, Call Manager and UCNX 11.5.
We have a couple of sites that need to support bilingual customer...
Hi,
new to Cisco call manager and assorted pieces.
We just recently brought the newest version of CUCM and Cisco unity connection up at our site.
Everything is basically working ok, however if you go into the Ciscu Unity Connection Web Inbox (from Chrome v40.0.2214.111 m) (or any other...
Hi GNR,
Let me give a case in point:
Several times now, one particular (non-acd) extension has had problems being undialable. It can call out, but when you try to dial it, you get either a reorder or busy - hard to tell which.
The first time it happened, the vendor was still here and they...
Hi GNR,
Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, they are radically different. And we are shooting for some training in a month or so. Just need to get by until then, and of course training is always more valuable if you go in knowing a little something...
Im not expecting an exact equiv, or a similar...
Hi,
We just jumped into a shiny new Cisco phone system (CUCM 10) and I'm trying to learn my way around some basic admin tasks.
Previously, we were on a hybrid Nortel CS1000 so that is what I have been familiar with the last several years.
Can anyone tell me if the cisco system has...
Thanks for the input.
goombawaho, Domain A is actually an emulated NT4, providing MSstyle user shares, running on a Mainframe that provides much of our front-end functionality. The emulated domain provides a tie between the Windows world and the Mainframe world of functionality.
Domain C is the...
Hi,
I have what seems to be an impossible cross-domain authentication issue.
Imagin 3 domains: a, b, and c.
Domain a is an NT4 domain with 2 one-way trusts to domain b
Domain B is an AD 2003 domain and has a two-way transititive trust to Domain C
Domain C is is a win2012
I am trying to...
Hi Vince,
Thanks for the input. I rebooted the core stack over the weekend and so far - knock on wood - I haven't seen any new queue drops there.
I'm not sure how that could affect the situation other than possibly mem fragmentation. I watch the core-switches memory and there wasn't a huge...
A good thought and I suspect it explains the morning bursts that seem to happen when people are coming in and logging in for the day (powering up or restarting their PCs). Is there anyway to verify it other than circumstantially?
However we see drops throughout the day so it wouldn't be the...
Hi I'm still looking at this issue trying to figure out what is going on.
I have turned of QOS on a couple of switches (no mls qos, but left individual port configurations the same) but am still seeing drops.
With QOS turned off one would presume that it is general congestion - especially at...
Hi Andy,
Thanks for the reply. I will take a look at the body of that bug ID if I can get access to it. I am getting drops out of the second queue - threshold 1 (its really confusing how the numbering starts with a zero in some places and a one in others!)But anyway it shows up in a 'show mls...
Hi,
I am trying to understand the reason for egress packet drops I am seeing on our 3560s.
The switches are wkgrp switches directly connected to users. We use Nortel IP phones with the phone inline with the user PC. PCs auto-neg to 100/full
As a reminder, Nortel phones mark voice traffic...
Hi UncleRico,
That would make sense, but the cases in which I've seen it (the Nortel document is a perfect case in point) it is clearly talking about the settings in reference to the same port. To the effect of:
"
In global configuration enter the command "mls qos map cos-dscp 0 8 16 40 32 46...
I am not at all familiar with this area but according to cisco doc 'www.cisco.com/en/us/docs/ios/lanswitch/command/reference/lsw_m1.html', it doesnt appear as if matching by mac is supported on a vlan interface.
However that my not be pertinent to your platform...
There is a long-standing question in my mind in regards to QOS on Cisco switches (specifically in my case, 3560s and 3750s) that I hope someone can clear up for me once and for all.
In the document:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/qos/command/reference/qos_m2.html#wp1041723
I see the...
