Great to see somebody else having similar problems. I too could only find instances of only printing blank pages. Curiously, the version I have is also v9. Prior to that, it worked fine.
Thats not a bad compromise. Doesnt really answer how to get acrobat to show blank pages but hopefully should achieve the desired result. I'll give it a go and let you know. Thanks.
Hi, sorry i've been lacking with info for some time. Problems with snow :-)
Anyway, I cant really have 'blank page' in the document. It used to work completely blank. You are correct, it is a Blank Page inserted into the file. If I put something in the page (a full stop) for example, it...
Hi, thanks for getting in touch. It was an existing PDF file. Opened using Acrobat Standard. Inserted a blank page from there. When printing from Acrobat Standard, thats when the problem has started. (V9). Looked elsewhere and for prev. versions it suggests there is a tick box in Print...
Hi, hope somebody knows... i'm sure its simple but can't work it out. I'm unable to print blank pages in a document. Blank pages have been put in to 'pad' out a document but Acrobat refuses to print them. It ignores them and prints the following page instead. Anything appreciated, thanks.
Martin.
Hi, in the earlier version of Visio you used to be able to select a Electrical group and from there find resistors, capacitors, etc., now the group appears to be missing, although components are there. How can you view all the components by group?
Thats great thanks. I had a quick go and couldnt find the table required. Could find other doc_tbl entries but not the Objects one. Nothing like Microsoft taking things away and making them more complicated is there!
Hi, Does anybody know how to export a report created from Documenter into a table?
I use the export function. But each time it tells me It is unable to find doc_rptObjects.
I dont understand why it needs this in the first place.
Something like this did exist in Access 97.
Thanks in advance,
Martin.
Thanks for your comments. THis is where I try to throw a spanner into the works of precission. Try this formula for size !
=LN(1+1/1000000000)
Within excel, the result is 1.000000082240370E-09
now, try it on your humble calculator. The result is
9.9999999950000000033333333308333e-10
Hi, any idea if anything can be done? It's just an example of the problem.
If I use the calculation LN(1.00001)in excel i get the result 9.99995000039884E-06
The correct value is 9.99995000033333E-06 and if I use a calculator (even the one in Windows XP) I get that value.
I cant round it down...
ive done what i think you mean by dragging the field from the main table to the table with the drop down fields in. Now when i run it, its blank. Is this because in the main one its listed as numbers whereas in the drop down list it has the words - ie, Word, Office, XP
Regards
Martin
Hi, My form has drop down menus which takes the value from another table and feeds the value into the main one.
My problem is (& I didnt realise at the time), is the value it puts into the main table is a number (the order from the drop down menu table that it sits in).
It hasnt given me a...
LOOKS like you've hit the nail right on the head there!!
Works a treat! completely forgotten about that. nothing like making this easy is there!
Thanks very much. would never have guessed.
Thanks again,
Martin.
Thanks for the reply. The formula is as follows... as you can see, its slightly more than a sumproduct.
=SUMPRODUCT(VLOOKUP($C11,Rates!$C$6:$J$12,YEAR(N$6:S$6)-2005,FALSE),N11:S11)
Hi, got a curious one.(Excel 2003) We have a sumproduct formula entered within the wizard which works fine, get a result. The problem starts when you come out of the wizard we get a #value error.
Why would it look fine in the wizard then give me an error out of it?
Many thanks,
Martin.
Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, this IS for Project 2003, and NOT powerpoint. As stated in the subject line, I need this displayed in the header... as in header and footer.
All I want is Z&A as that is the name of the company. Any further ideas?
Many thanks.
Hi, sounds straight forward. I need to insert Z&A in the header (no spaces). Looks fine, until I print or go back in and find it changes it to Z&[Author]. Is there a way to supress these automatic field codes?
Thanks.
