All,
We are converting our Nortel succession 3.0 to a Cisco Platform by year end. We will be selling our Nortel PBX once the cut is down. Anyone know of some vendors in the Dallas Area that might be interested.
Have you tried using PCA (if your switch is set up for it). Works like a charm and the user can turn it on or off at their convience. Lot easier than messing with the phone all the time.
There is a box that can hook to a digital set that acts as a 2616 telephone that you can hook up. It will answer and read back the telephone that they are calling from. It can also be set up to dial back to that extension also. It is a pretty cool device. I don't remember the name of it off the...
The only way you can assign ISDN lines is if your telephone switch has the capability. Most companies that I know of bring in seperate ISDN Lines for the video conference units. I programmed one switch many years ago for ISDN spids off the PBX. It was not a pleasant experience.
I have tried all the devices and it still sends out the notification and it automatically logs into voicemail. I like it that way but the user does not. It is all about making the customer happy. Any other ideas out there?
I changed it to numeric or digital pager and it is still outcalling to the cellphone and asking for me to log into the mailbox right away. They do not want that. What else can I do?
I have set up remote notification to a cell phone for a department. They want Call Pilot to leave the call back number for voicemail on the cell phone. They are currently getting the callpilot calling out to them and letting them log into the voicemail directly. Any suggestions?
There is a couple of places here in Texas you might want to try. One is a company called Jabbercom and the other is a company called TRCA. I know TRCA has a website, don't know about Jabbercom though. TRCA does business with other places around the US. You might want to try one of those two...
My suggestion would be to sell it for parts. You can do a Google search to find vendors world wide that might be interested in buying it all or just some of the pieces. What ever you don't sell you can take to a recycle yard and hopefully get a few bucks to have a party with.
When the install the Fiji Cards make sure they do not crimp the fiber connections anywhere in the cabinets. Nothing like having them bounce up and down because there is a pinch somewhere in the line, I agree with both John Poole and gwebster on their posts as well. Clean it up and make sure...
Have you tried to reinstall the 4.0 software again. I found this a couple of years ago after a Meridian Mail upgrade. Once I reinstalled it the second time the backup started to work again.
I currently have OTM 2.2 and we have the lease is up on our server running this application. We no longer support the recommended version of Windows server. Will OTM operate on the most current version of Windows Server. I believe it will but I just wanted to check all my resources before...
If the 6000 number is one of your spree codes you will never be able to track that person down. A wild quess would be the cleaning crew at night. Do you have a time of when the calls are going out?
You can update the name in Station admin then transmit it to the switch or you can delete the old cpnd in CPND admin then add the new. Depends on how much work you want to do.
As long as the customer is paying me by the hour I will follow his 17 steps. That means it will take me 17 hours to fix his two second problem. You know the minute he turns around we would do it our own way.
