Changing Name From OTM

How do you changed CPND from OTM? I'm not sure if I'm doing the fastest way. I usually go to terminal admin, expand the tn, add new user, save it, go to cpnd admin, then transmit both prime and rollover line.

You can update the name in Station admin then transmit it to the switch or you can delete the old cpnd in CPND admin then add the new. Depends on how much work you want to do.

You should never change a name in OTM. I corrupted our software doing that and caused the PBX to initialize. OTM enters ld 95, and enters chg at the req prompt. Always delete names and enter names new. Never change them.
