First create a local user with the same username as the Novell username. On the next login click Advanced/Windows and enter that username in the Windows log in box. You can synch the passwords on log in. The user won't see the Windows log in screen until Novell forces a password change.
Thanks. The problem was the time frame between the deletion of the profile and the discovery the doc.'s had been lost. We were able to use an undelete program to recover the critical documents.

What are you running for virus protection? Latest Norton/Symantec products have problems with W2K and FAT32. Have had to convert more than one to NTFS.
