Can I have Javascript trigger a textfield to populate with a given value based on the content of a pulldown?
For example, if pulldown=M then textbox='Mr' if pulldown=F then textbox='Ms'
Thanks for your assistance.
PS I would love for this to work without refreshing the page/losing form data!
I am the new administrator of an Exchange 2003 box. I added a user and was confused when none of the Exchange mappings autopopulated in ADUC after the user is created. Where in setup could the previous sysadmin screwed things up such that this info would not be autopopulated? This is SBS so...
I'm having people losing their custom icons and settings as sometimes when they log in they go from username for their profile to username.domain.com -- this seems to happen spontaneously. Do you know what might be causing this or how to avoid it?
Thank you.

Unfortunately, I had to delete and reassociate the mailbox with a new Exchange account in order to fix the problem. If anyone has an alternate solution I'm all ears.
Maybe I should rephrase; what level of restriction would be appropriate? They are Domain Users....I'm talking mostly browser cookies, toolbars, homepage hijackers, and opened attachments. Win2k3's warnings would help but upgrading is not an option, so for the popup blocking and reduced...
Throughput on backup exec 8 to one of our domain servers-- the domain controller which is also running exchange -- goes EXTREMELY slow and has bad throughput in backups. This is not how it used to behave. The NIC appears to be fine.
Any suggestions on troubleshooting?
IBM says it no longer supports Lotus Smartsuite version 9.8, and we'd have to renew our software subscription to get Smartsuite 9.8.1. Has anyone noticed any significant enhancements that would make it worth the upgrade?
Thanks.

I fixed my own problem on this one, and thought I'd share the solution. We downloaded Microsoft Excel Viewer 2003 and installed it. THen, we cut and paste from this viewer into Lotus 123. It preserved most of the formatting.

OK.
1. You are right about interactive CPU being exceeded. It was being caused by the application generating tables for keyword searches through the application database.
2. We use a Terminal server because I am able to administer 70 users, each with their own ts sessions, outlook, lotus...
The D: drive on one of our servers is shared to Administrators, system and domain users, but for whatever reason nightly it clears out domain users. Do you know what local or domain policies might be in effect that might be changing these permissions nightly, or another way I can check this out...
Eek, when I say "They are refusing to support our software" I mean the software vendor. IBM is helping us to a traffic check between the 400 and our Win2k server.
We are doing TCP/IP directly to the 400; all the TCP/IP packets to the 400 are coming directly from the terminal server. The only information sent from the thin clients, which are acting as dumb terminals to the Windows 2000 server, is screen information and keystrokes over RDP.
I thought...
We're running an AS/400 on a TCP/IP network, we communicate with the AS/400 using a terminal server and about 70 users with a dual NIC.
The problem is is for whatever reason we are eating up interactive CPU on the AS/400. It's an iSeries 840.
I want a way to eliminate the terminal server as...
An important folder has been deleted from our file server by an active directory user. Is there a way I can trace who deleted it and/or restore it?
Thanks.
