I would like to see your web page.
While you are asking "how do I evaluate an email address",
my problem is much simplier - assuming the email address is correct - the confirmation page is being generated, but the actual email is not being sent across !!
Would you mind having a look...
I love discussions where opinions matter more than fact!
As a consultant, I have witnessed employers stressing either method (sections or no sections) with vigor!
My opinion? If you want to see a logical program, one that you can debug at 3:00 am, then selection SECTIONS.
Even the section...
well spoken. except... for the primitives, like myself, who are using @home.com....
they do not allow you to use cgi scripts. (if they do, please tell me, as i haven't
gotten one to work). come to think of it, i haven't been able to get a .pl (perl)
script to work. but they can't stop you from...
i agree! and something even worse than front page messing with your code?
its when @home.com messes with servers, so that you can't figure out
where to get your "next page" from (as in displaying a confirmation page on submitting a form!)
i have a FRAME. the third FRAME has a FORM.
on the first SUBMIT of the FORM - nothing happens.
on the SECOND submit of the form, the FORM ACTS CORRECTLY -
ie: it fires off an email and it displays the CONFIRMATION page.
help! why doesn't it work on the FIRST TRY?????
