I just started using Front Page and I am writing active server pages. My problem is when I write VBScript that continues after the first </body></html> tags as in an <%If...Else %> statement, then I try to save the file, Front Page &quot;fixes&quot; my mistakes, which of course are not mistakes, they are VBScripts.

How do I get Front Page to stop fixing things for me?

I'm getting tired of writing a page. Saving it and then fixing it with notepad so that it stays the way I want it.

i agree! and something even worse than front page messing with your code?
its when @home.com messes with servers, so that you can't figure out
where to get your &quot;next page&quot; from (as in displaying a confirmation page on submitting a form!)

If you use the INSERT > ADVANCED > HTML feature FrontPage leaves it alone :) I use this all the time. Add all the code you want into the text area and click Submit.

It add these tags around the code:

Code:
<!--webbot bot=&quot;HTMLMarkup&quot; startspan -->
<!--webbot bot=&quot;HTMLMarkup&quot; endspan -->
