I have a form on a page that I want to make sure that an "email address" in entered before they submit the form. I have been rx junk email from this form and want to stop it.
Thanks,
Dave

I would like to see your web page.

While you are asking "how do I evaluate an email address",
my problem is much simplier - assuming the email address is correct - the confirmation page is being generated, but the actual email is not being sent across !!

Would you mind having a look at:
and voicing an opinion?

Use validation on that form field. You can set a minimum length so that it will check that at least SOMETHING is entered into that field. Someone out there might know how to make sure there's a @ symbol entered...? To set validation, right click the field in FP and choose Validation.
