Accessing Filemaker remotely by IP address.
i just got this to work. there's a tech artcle on the filemaker website at: http://www.filemaker.com/ti/104289.html basically, you have to get into your router setup screens, then you have to set the filemaker 'server' machine to a static i.p. address (else the address will change ever time...- karl88

i recall from the old days (early filemaker) that repeating fields are seperated with a particular ASCII character. but i can't remember what character it was! so if your text file was formatted as: data1 <tab>data2<ASCII#>data3<ASCII#><tab>data4<PARAGRAPH MARK> you could import into 3 fields...- karl88
