Help File Creation

one technique i have used to to put the help files right int the filemaker database that needs it.
take screen shots of the layouts, open the images in an image editor and clean the screenshots up. import the images into a "help screen" layout in FMP. then, using callouts (lines that go from the screenshot to a block of text that explains the item) you can enter the information about a field or process in the image.
it's a pain when you change your layout tho, cause the help screen is out of sync. it helps if you make small areas - a single or a few fields with their definitions/help information.
