Thanx a lot Laurie
First of all sorry for turning your down but I refuse to go bald... @T#%@$ I'll NEVER have to work with org. charts, I promise you ^^
Well, I can't go back to PowerPoint 2000 now because Office 2002 does have some other good features that I depend on now. So far I just worked...
A Mr. Nice Guy has developed a script for bullets...

It's still not fully controllable, but much better
than inserting bullets manually~~
He is good and He is my Lord
All undeletable swatches usually come with AI EPS files, InDesign 2.02 update should have solved this problem... But by now, I assume you already solved it too... ^^

Interesting discussion...
East Asian printers are getting headache because the most up-to-date imagesetter is required to output InDesign 2 generated postscript/PDF files using Asian characters for the new core lauguage it uses (something like this...), but here in the States and Europe, it's...
Er... AdobeTim is definitely correct, but I think the easiest way to solve your problem is to use Character Grid in paragpraph palette which ensures lines are aligned to grids. (This might be Japanese version specialty though, sorry cannot check this right now)
I'm getting confused a bit...
When working with bleeded jobs, I used to set up my page size as the final finished size, allow bleeded areas go beyond the page. When working, press W can switch between bleeded normal view mode and preview mode to see the final look.
Is this the case you guys are...
I guess PDF would be the quickest solution? - provided you just want to output them and have no further changes to make. But if you'd have each slide sheet to remain editable in InDesign... Really don't know @_@
First of all, maker sure your InDesign is up-to-date...
The English version of InDesign should handle Korean perfectly, make sure you apply Korean font to textframe before typing or placing text.
I don't know much about Korean, but some Chinese users either swith to the Japanese version of...
After updating from Office 2000 to 2002, I'm really troubled by the way PowerPoint 2002 handles pasted text.
When pasting from Notepad, I expect the text to come in unformatted, that is, pick up the characteristics of existing PowerPoint textframe. But it just adjust automatically to the...
Thanks Atomix, it's real neat!
Directly copy + paste into other programs
indeed ruins the picture quality, even if
it's already a floating image...
I never thought about using PowerPoint
this way ;)
I used to play with leading using InDesign's nice shortcut Alt + up/down arrow for efficiency. To me "Space before" is more difficult to control - using keyboard, so does an extra enter.
In other programs, I think leading usually comes above the applied text. But yeah, I agree...

Hi all...
I use Enfocus PitStop 5.04 to convert a Word generated PDF to CMYK color (in favor of color seperation). After conversion, seperation was okay, but the color shift there is just too serious to accept... Please kindly give me some suggestions... Thanx a loooooooooot ^^
Sometimes it's helpful to open the document first in PageMaker and fix some existing problems such as missing links or missing fonts, then convert to InDesign.
As stated... Truly confused and troubled.
I prefer using Leading to Space Before Paragraph
because it's much more flexible and easier to edit...
Any solutions or suggetions would be appreciated!!
I regularly add new words to InDesign 2 user dictionary during spelling check, and I truly wish there is a way to share the word list among computers.
The help file mentions some *.udc file, but I can't figure out if it's related to 3rd party dictionary file only or addresses to my problem...
