How do you locate the use of rogue spot colors?

I have been given the document from [heck]. Really, we all say that but this one is making things float on my desk and spin in the air.

There are 20 spot colors in the swatches palette. Most of them can be 'aliased' in the ink manager. But some are spots that really should not be there. I cannot delete the swatches because they come from placed EPS files.

Is there some trick to locating where these spot colors come from? I do not want to go through over a hundred placed images.

All undeletable swatches usually come with AI EPS files, InDesign 2.02 update should have solved this problem... But by now, I assume you already solved it too... ^^
