I have a customer who wants to be able to share their calendars with ours and vice versa.
They have Exchange 2000 SP3, we have 5.5 SP3.
We can easily implement a direct link, via a couple of Firewalls from their Exchange server to ours, not via the Internet.
Is this possible?
Cheers

Firstly make you Quorum 1GB RAID 1.
Choose your RAID configuration for your data, 5 or 10, and create a drive for it, then create a seperate drive for your logs at RAID1.
You will include both these drives in your SQL Virtual Server and when you come to performing the install you will be given...

This error can occur if the eseutil /p command-line command is run on the databases in question and if the log files are not removed. To determine if the eseutil /p command-line command was run, follow these steps:
Run the following command-line command on the database in question...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > VERITAS > Backup Exec > Engine > NTFS folder, change the Restrict Anonymous Support dword from value of 0-->1. Do this on both nodes. You will have to use Cluster Administrator to stop/start the Backup Exec services to make this take effect.
Good luck.

I'm unable to connect to my Exchange 2000 EVS using OWA with the IP Address, it will only allow connection using its name, is this by design or can I change something to allow this?
No problem to migrate users back from 2k to 5.5.
If you are going to keep both 2k & 5.5 you may as well just create a replica of the PF on the 2k server, and if and when you decom the 5.5 server you just remove that replica.
