Hi,

We got OWA 2K installed in and working in a DMZ configuration, if I type the ip address of the server and /exchange I can get onto it and read my mail.

However, if I type the i still get the authentication box, and then i get a 404 Error "The Page cannot not be found"

Any help would be most appreciated.

This sounds like a DNS issue.

Is your web page hosted locally by that server or it on some ISP's server? Because your DNS probably doesn't know what
If it works by IP and not by name, then you must add an (A) record to your internal DNS to point to the right server.

In other words, if your email server is 10.10.10.10, and
you want to work, you must add a DNS record saying that " is at 10.10.10.10.

This might not be your case because it all depends on your setup, but I think you must understand what I mean by: " has to point to the right IP address.

"In space, nobody can hear you click..."

Our config goes like this, we have 1 ex2k server internally, we have another ex2k server in a DMZ that is only used for OWA.

we got our ISP to map one of old domains to the ip address of the owa server, in the DMZ. This works cos, if we ping the domain name, it gets resolved to the right ip address of the owa server in the DMZ.

Now if enter the into a browser i get the authentication box up and then it goes straight in.

But..

Now if enter the into a browser i get the authentication box up and then i get the following.

The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
