Go to the ASP and VBS files mentioned above. example: the logo table for the login screen starts at roughly line 160 of the login.asp. put the logo you want into the citrix\media file then change the <img src> There are multiple tables, each has it's own color scheme, it's basically trial and...
No, we are running FR2 with Nfuse 1.7. To make changes you need to go to the nfuse.txt file. %System root%\Program files\Citrix\Nfuse\nfuse.txt
This is where you can edit/add text for the Login.asp and frameset.asp. To find the text you want to edit look for the <gPropKey.StaticString> in the...
Got it. The global.asa has an entry:
<OBJECT ID="gPropKey" RUNAT="Server" SCOPE="Application"
PROGID="com.citrix.nfuse.PropertiesKeys">
</OBJECT>
This points to the nfuse.txt file for the StaticString.
Thanks, it looks like I'll be spending some quality time in the lab with this one. :Sparci
I personally haven't had any issues with SP3, but have read some horror stories here about it. Run a search here on SP3 and you'll get an idea.
Thanks again.
I checked there, the only include files are under NFuseAdmin. I ran a search on the Citrix directory and only came up with 11 files all in NfuseAdmin. Then I ran a search on the entire C:\ and found misc. inc file that had nothing to do with NFuse. Kind of strange since it looks like they are...
I have been looking at the Citrix site for help customizing the "look and feel" of the NFuse17 login page. I know that much of it is in the .inc files that the gPropKey.StaticString calls. The problem is there are NO .inc files in the specified directory. I ran a search on the machine for the...
Thanks, it looks like the issue was with network security, I verified the rules in the firewall, but network security never gave routing access from the Aventail system to the machines added after the initial gateway setup.
No, I checked through the Group policies, they haven't been configured. It looks like the uninstall of the app might have pulled something from the registry. The popup is between the ctl/Alt/Del and the login screen. I checked the winlogon key but didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
I have a server that (after an application was removed)gives a strange popup before a user logs in.
When you hit Ctl/ALT/DEL a window pops up with a tab marker in the window header, and pipe in the upper left corner of the dialog box. When you hit OK you login fine. It doesn't seem to be...
I get this error message when trying to access published apps via the web client. I am coming in through an aventail system to an Nfuse gateway. I can access apps published on servers that were in place before this gateway was installed, but any server built after gives the message:
There is...
Look to see the file association on your machine. I had this problem with Word. When I looked at the file type Word was associated with PNAgent, not the local .exe
How are they accessing the published app? The full client the PNAgent or NFuse? I had this problem when accessing from the PNAgent or NFuse gateway, but I could launch the app from the client. It turned out that the XML port was listed as shared with IIS, I changed it to port 443 and fixed the...
We are running Metaframe XPe FR2, when a user connects an error shows up in the event manager
Unable to start a DCOM Server: {E63F16AA-7C16-4697-826C-98B7A5092299}. The error:
"The system cannot find the file specified. "
Happened while starting this command:
C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA...
I got it. Under HKLM\Software\Novell\Login there were serveral entries no added by the netware client install. I added:
AutoAdminLogon REG_SZ 0
AutoAdminQueryNDS Reg_DWORD value=1
TSClientAutoAdminlogon REG_SZ 1
TSClientAutoAdminQueryNDS REG_SZ 1
Now I get the prompt from Citrix as well as...
I managed to get it on 443, I exported the registry key:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CtxHttpfrom a working server and imported it to one in question. I can access the desktop, and all published apps from the Client, PNAgent, and Nfuse.
OK, I figured out the problem. Under the Metaframe tab the Citrix XML Service is set to: Sharing with IIS.
I tried ctxxmlss /r443, but received the error that the port was already in use. How can I get the xml port to register 443 under metaframe?
