    Try the oracle ODBC-Driver, in the client settings of your oracle client are some NLS-Parameters (regestry), perhaps you have to switch. Normaly you should use the Oracle ODBC-Driver, perhaps the newest Patch for this version. Best regards

    There is a good patch for ODBC (oracle 8.1.7). The newest is 8.1.7.8B but i work quiet well with patch 8.1.7.3. Next thing is the MDAC-Version. On the MS-webside is a hint for the MDAC V.2.7 for XP. Best regards
