Looking to use Mercator to integrate with SAP. Our current architecture is to use MQ Series as the middleware, without using the SAP adaptor that Mercator sells.

We are considering switching to the SAP adaptor. I would like to know from someone on the pros and cons of using and not using the SAP adaptor.

Thanks in advance.

There are some more products, using SAP-Connectivity. Each has its owm pro and cons. It depends on the dataflows you what to manage.
A very high flexibility in managing various data and mixed flows is the enterprise integrator (EPI) from Wistec.
When you check your business workflows, then you know the level of integration your EAI-Tool has to manage.
An EAI-Tool should not only serve one specific solution for data-exchange, it should be able to manage your workflows.

Best regards
