    P4 2.4C 800MHZ FSB In an Abit IT7 MAX@ ver2.0

    would this work; putting a new pentium 4 2.4ghz 800 fsb into the it7 max2 board that only offcially supports 400/533 mhz fsb? could i manually set the fsb to 200mhz and the multiplier to 12x. would my pc2100 ram still work corectly?

    you could use coyote linux, it runs completely off of a floppy disk and has no need for a hd. you could even run it off of a 386 or greater. also you dont' need to know any linux programming. www.coyotelinux.com

    i know im being stubborn but my mobo supports fsb's up to 250 mhz abit it7max2. couldn't i run it at 200 mhz quad pumped and with whatever the multiplier would be for the new p4?
