Epo Authentication to the database
Make sure you use the same domain admin account to start services on your database, ePO server, start the console, etc.- edunet

epso service not starting
I had kind of the same problem but with SQL 2000 service. I changed the passoword that the service uses to start and the password in the service itself didn't change. Double check if the account that ePO uses to start the service matches the new password. Good luck!- edunet
