    I tested it and it worked great on a single workstation to a shared network drive. The management team scrapped the idea they had that required this, however, so I didn't end up deploying it... but thanks for the helpful tips :)

    Apparently, once he applies a fourth subtotal (and any subsequent subtotals) the subtotals do not calculate properly. The totals all get shifted to the right and lose alignment, resulting in the subtotals not wrapping correctly.

    I've upgraded one of my people to Office 2003 as my test case - so far everything is great with the exception of subtotals...after four or more subtotals deep the calculations do not occur correctly... the same exact file can be saved, then subtotals can be calculated in Office XP with no issue...

    What OS are you working in? I'm assuming W98/95 since you referred to the Windows directory rather than winnt - you can use the deltree command coupled with the "/Y" switch to remove these directories, i.e. --> deltree /y c:\windows\favori~1 Hope this is some help...
