It's okay. A colleague has solved this solution. According to Juniper documentation, the "Auto-Negotiation" (as per most other vendors) is enabled by default. We found that it is, in fact, not enabled by default. Once this was enabled it all worked okay.

Through trouble and toil :) .... I have answered my own question. The answer is that the EAPS domain name and the control vlan must be configured on each switch. I have implimented and it is all working as it should which is marvellous.
