You should just be able to map you network drive closer to your project directory. If that doesn't work make sure none of your folder names in your directory path have more than 8 characters.
In case anyone has the same issue... The problem ended up being a bad hard drive. I used the tech toolkit to turn off the password issue mentioned above and then had to reload windows anyway. Once I had a fresh version on, it continued to throw error after error. I had a friend hook the hard...
I just recently added a functional mailbox to Outlook 2K (SP3). Since adding the mailbox, my Outlook does not shut down when I exit. It leaves the screen up that says Please Wait While Outlook Exits, but never exits. I can shut it down from the task manager. We have also had the problem with...
Greg - Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, I need the alt-tab box to have specific icons on it (specifically Primavera Project Management as run through Citrix) for training purposes. Thanks for the help though.
Greg - Thanks for the tip. However, install rights are prohibited. I'm assuming since you suggested a seperate software that the ability screen capture the alt-tab box is not in Windows?
First off, I'm using XP Home but I figure you guys might be able to help. My laptop recently crapped out. Upon rebooting I would get the error something about "windows could not start file missing <windows root> ntoskrnl.exe." So I took the advice of about 10 forums and ran the recovery console...
ryanlashway - Thanks for the response. Did what you suggested and downloaded the software for my wireless card. It worked great for one night. But, when I got on yesterday, it started again with the disconnects. It stays connected about 2 min. then nothing. I've been forced back to just the...
I had a NetGear MR814 11Mbps wireless router hooked up to my desktop at home and was able to work fine from my HP laptop (Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN, Driver V3.70.17.0). Then, one day, my network just got all sketchy. It would disconnect and after I would unhook my router and cable modem it would...
I have users who are trying to access a site behind a portal. Behind the portal they are able to access an applications page that allows them to choose their app. However, when they click on any link to an app. they will get a Page cannot be displayed error. If I go to the Internet Options ->...
Well, I'm assuming the CMC is the Citrix Management Console (or something of the sort) and if that is found on the server, then no, we do not have direct access to it. We would have to have our server folks access it each time the user's machine locked. I'm just looking to see if anyone knows of...
We, unfortunately, do not have access to the server, unless we go to our server folks each time. So, I was looking to see if the user could get themselves unlocked. However, we have tried Scott's solution of trying to simply log off and have also tried the disconnect, neither worked. He even did...
We are using Citrix v8.0.24737.0 to run another application. A user's machine has been frequently locking. So far, there hasn't been a pattern as to what he is doing when it locks. We would just like to know how we can log out or end the program to unlock the machine. As you can tell, we are...
We have an application that requires JRE 1.4.1 to run. I have a user who has 1.4.1 installed on his machine correctly. However, when he attempts to access the application it gives him an error to the effect of "Java 1.2 is not properly installed." There was no entry in the Add/Remove Programs...
Good news, It's up and running. Mike, thanks for helping me see my problems. Rosenk, someone went in and reloaded the db on me while I was on another project, hence the error, but thanks for the help. And wouldn't you know it, right when I get all my programs up and running they put me on a new...
