Hi,
It sounds like You'r flash isn't recognized by the NIU2
card. That means that You are using the NIU2 cache
memory which of course is lost at reset.
Procedure:
IOBPI to tell there is a card.
IOSII to tell there is a filesystem.
FICRI to make the file system readable
FIMOI to mount the file...

It is NOT a good advice to leave the system like this.
I would certainly not do that to any of my customers. This kind of stuff will give You headaches for a long time.
The only sensible thing is to rescue as much data as
possible and then rebuild it. After this I will not waste
more...
There may be data mismatches all over the place. It entirily
depends on what data that was left. Rocap and rodap doesn't
have any data dependencies to generic extensions. This
implies that more then just generic extensions was left.
This system is very sick and You will probably have loads
of...
I have had problems posting, that's why I did the test above.
Anyway if You ended a LIM without properly removing all data
You basically have two options.
1. Find an old dump with that LIM on and reload it.
2. Try to print as much data as You possibly can
regenerate it with PCREGEN and start...
Wfhy, You have just managed to wipe out ALL data in ELP6,
If You still have an old dump reload from it. If not You
have to start from INL.
To hot swap units used FCPLI.

Hi what has happened is You have manually
changed or created the REL directory.
You actually have too many rights set.
Match the parameters below.
As the post above says check that the owner is DR
which is USERID 2
This is how a healty REL directory looks like...
Yes You can, but there is one catch.
When the LPU looks for a reload volume
it will use the first file system it finds.
You must make sure that the NIU containg
the reload volume is located in the lowest
multiple position of all NIU's which contains
a file system.

Here's a little lazy dog for the GCU2
GCU led's codes
* green : MCCL
* green : RCCL
* green : ACCL
* red : CCA
* red : ICA
* yellow : FRSY receiving (flashing)
Display codes:
E1 : multiple GCU masters
E2 : IGLD communication fault
E3 : IGMC communication fault
E4 : 8khz sync faulty
E5 : clock...
A new sync function,
A LIM may take external sync even if it is
not master LIM.
This is useful if You have a remote LIM over
i.e. ATM or TCP/IP. You can take sync from
Your local CO rather than have it regenerated
from You packet switched network.

Well The TMU business doesn't have anything
to do with if You have CAS cards or not. It
is an entirely different issue altogether.
1. To be able to get a register when in
speech a mobile extension needs a key¨
code receiver to detect the 'attention'
key.
2. Each TMU contaions 4 key...
When You start a dump one of the first things that happens is the the system erases the date file. It then performs the dump and after check reading with an ok result it creates a new date file.
A REL volume that doesn't have a date file is considered invalid. An invalid volume is selected as...
There's still plenty of juice in the LPU. The bottle neck was the inter LIM communication.
With multiple communication channels the new limit is 1.8 calls/s (The break is set at 2 to allow for small peaks).
This function is SW only. It is the selection of
communication channel which is...
If You want to dump on a particular REL,
the easiest way is to kill it's date file
before the dump.
If You want to dump on REL2:
fidie:path=/sysn/usr2/ses/dr/rel2/date;
y;
If You want to dump on REL1:
fidie:path=/sysn/usr1/ses/dr/rel1/date;
y;
Use that command with caution, otherwise
You...
The most obvious reason is two trunks without disconnection and/or answer signal connected back to back via transfer.
They will sit and spit out call records until manually disconnected.
One easy way to do this in some markets is to dial an external number which is busy, hang up and dial...
