Try rebooting the computer. It should kill all hanging connections and let others open the file. You can also try right clicking My computer/manage/shared folders/sessions. This should give you the option of closing down any open sessions.I am not sure what the problem is but this might help you...

When i hit send/receive in outlook it will kill the monitor. Hardrive seems to stay running but you have to hold in the power button and reboot to get the monitor back up again. Could this be a video card issue? Thanks for any help.
