I think you or the people from the outside do not have the right "smtp address" remember that when they send email to this list they must type it exactly as it shows under the list properties on the exchange.....Let me know what is the list name and how are you sending email to it from...

I get the exact same error since i remember and i tested tried to replicate the error and found out that the exchange server will give you that error description when a client computer outlook sends an email to someone and that someone's mailbox does not exist or is restricted at the other end's...
PeriyurParthi so what you mean is that when you send an email from the outside "yahoo,hotmai,etc." those emails are not getting to any of the mailboxes in that distribution list you just created?????????????
Thanks for the advise i tried it but finally i realized i was using a bad cable that connects from the laptop "com 1 or 2" to the serial port on the rad. I used a good one and finally was able to connect to it.
