Hello
I have a Public Folder with many items in it that all have item level permissions applied (used for workflow). I have an item that no-one seems to have permission to change and I can't do anything with it. I have tried PFDevAdmin which confirms the item has item-level permissions applied...
He didn't send any additional info but I have read a few articles around the web for how to use it. I'm sure I will be fine when I get round to using it sometime this afternoon. Thanks anyway.
Good lateral thinking there, thanks for the suggestion.
Emailed him and he was happy to send the tool! Just hope it fixes my problem.
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the replies.
I have not had any luck in getting the NoMAS tool yet. Any chance you could post a link so I could download it? Did you get it from Microsoft? Did you need to enter credit card details? If not, how did you contact them?
I have to say the tool looks simpler than the...
Ok, used the "undebug all" command to make sure debugging is off. Set the dbuf size to the default of 512 and cleared the dbuf and db again.
Doesn't seem to have made much difference in the memory usage.
There is an article about this new error on the Juniper support site. It basically says...
Thanks for the suggestions. Memory usage looks like it is running a bit high on the home page (sometimes going into the red), but I'm not sure why. I don't have that many services running, I've switched off pretty much all the logging, and AV now only scans incoming email and I don't even have...
I'm getting the following error in the event log very frequently (every couple of minutes):
2005-07-20 15:51:26 error SCAN-MGR: Check Pattern File failed: code from VSAPI: -98.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong?
Thanks
Hello
I have the MSExchMasterAccountSID problem on multiple mailboxes that I think is responsible for affecting my ArcServe bricks level backup (among other issues). I know I can use the NoMAS tool to fix it but this is only available by contacting Microsoft Support.
The problem is, they seem...
Can anyone tell me how to still receive emails for a user that has been disabled (without transferring the address to another user)?
From what I've read Microsoft say that it should not stop the mailbox receiving emails but it does for me, they get bounced back to the sender.
Cheers.
We have been using the Watchguard authentication applet to enable users to use OWA externally for while without a problem. However, one of our users now needs to use this from behind a proxy server on another network and this does not work.
The authentication applet loads in and allows him to...
Thanks Debi.
Nope, the registry key doesn't exist on v11.1 - I tried adding it but it made no difference.
Spoke to technical support, they say it can't be done and the only way to do a flat backup of Exchange is to stop the services. There are also a couple of other files that the Open Files...
I already have the Open Files Agent, but it's as if it doesn't even bother trying to back up the Exchange edb files and it gives a "Sharing Violation" error on the stm files. I found a post on this forum that said for ArcServe v9 there is a registry key called "SkipDSAFiles" which you could...
Hello
Can anyone tell me how to do a backup of Exchange using the Open Files agent? What I need is a full backup of the server for use with the Disaster Recovery Option, but even with the Open Files Agent I get a sharing violation on priv1.stm and pub1.stm and it doesn't even bother trying to...
Hello all,
We recently purchased DrayTek Vigor 2600X routers to replace our frame-relay circuits with VPN tunnels between sites. We were going to have the VPN tunnels running alongside the frame-relay until all issues were worked out and we were confident that it would be reliable. We have 2...
If you mean tick the box to "Save this username and password for the following users:", the "Anyone who uses this computer" option is greyed out if the connection was not initially set up for all users.
I'm sorry, I don't think you are getting what I am asking for. I do get the prompts for the phone number, username and password etc because the boxes are ticked.
The problem is Windows only allows you to dial connections set up for "anyone's use" before a user is logged on (and...
No, I have the RAS option in the login box. The problem is that when you use it, the only connections available to dial are those set up for "Anyone's use". All my connections are for a specific user and so cannot be dialled before logon. I need a way to be able to change a connection...
That is a good idea, but that will just create a new connection for each user. I need a connection for "Anyone's use" so I can use the "Log on using dial-up connection" option at the login screen.
I need to do this for many notebook PCs which is why I am looking for an...
