    DR Solution

Would two SBS boxes on two different domains communicate and replicate so that if one went down the other would be ok or would it be better to have two Win2003 R2's, install Exchange and SQL server on both servers and use DFS/FRS to replicate the data of these two apps? Thanks

    DR Solution

Will it also replicate Word/Excel, Exchange files, etc on both servers?

Could the 2nd win2003 box replicate the SBS box?

    DR Solution

We are using a Citrix Box and an SBS 2003 at a single site on the same domain. I want to add another server to the network for performance and robustness. I've found out that you can't have two SBS on the same domain. Could I add a win2003 server that would replicate the SBS box or could I...

    New System setup

I need to split the risk but still share the SBS from two locations. Is it possible to have two domains? If so what are the implications?

    New System setup

We have currently have a Citrix box and an Win 2003 SBS server on one site. We have 35 users and it works fine. We are looking at more robus solution and want to have another server at another site (50ft accros the road). Our IT suppliers have suggested converting the Citrix box(more ram and...

    Unable to see device

Vista. Downloaded some music off the internet and trying to download onto a phone that is connected to the laptop. I see the phone in the "My computer" as well as the other drives, etc, but when trying to use "save as", the phone device doesn't show. Is this a bug or is there something a miss here.

    Conversion to Java from Foxpro

Yes, I have started to redesign the database schema and then map objects. We have VFP6, but there is no point converting to that as MS will depreciated it soon and it would be almost as big a job to convert to that as it is to use Java or C#. Application speed is important as Fox is quick, but...

    Conversion to Java from Foxpro

I will be new to Java. I have Foxpro 2.6 apps and wish to port to Java. I wish to keep the *.dbf files in place, until I choose a database such as Derby, HLSQL, H2, etc. Is this possible without losing too much speed, otherwise I will have to port the tables at the same time as the software...

    Conversion Project

My firm is tight moneywise and don't want to upgrade to VFP9. They don't want to upgrade full stop. But they keep wanting additions like exporting to Excel, emailing and other mods, which is pain in Fox 2.6. I'm the only IT person here so time is heavy on my hand and I don't want to throwaway...

    Conversion Project

We have a set of projects built in foxpro 2.6 DOS/WIN. I want to upgrade these to VFP6, but as VFP will be no more in the near future and I can't bear to throw away all the old foxpro code and rewrite in C#. What I propose is to use C# as the front end, VFP as the middle layer and eventually SQL...

VFP 6 Speed Issues on Network

To AnyGuy. Are you using Citrix? Are all the patches implemented? On our system (2003 SBS) we've had to use Appsence to downgrade the CPU usage, for a host of apps, 16bit and 32bit.

Forgive my ignorance. What does CMC stand for? How do I find it?

    Flash problems in Citrix

I tried looking for that flash setting, but can't find it. I'm using "Citrix Access Essentials", what version should I be running to see these options. (Patrickhouse)

    Flash problems in Citrix

Tried them but they crashed the Citrix box every time I ran them.

    Flash problems in Citrix

I'm using version 4 and the clients are version 9. I'm using a two server soloution, with SBS as the main server and a server with Citrix on the other. The app works on the SBS box and if access the Citrix box via the SBS, but it won't work via clients or if I directly run it on the Citrix box...

    Flash problems in Citrix

I'd had and continue to have problems with a app using Flash. What version do you have installed that works Patrickrouse?

FP 2.6 DOS running under Citrix and 2003 server

I am converting a system to run on Citrix. There are only 4 remote users using so far with no problems so far. What is Hyper threading and where is the setting located? I am having problems trying to direct printing to certain printers. Have you come across this?
