Was curious so I did some digging, nothing wrong with your memory
Crystal Reports 6 supported a max of 100 elements in an array, in CR7 it went up to 250, and in CR8 it was pushed up to current limit of 1,000.

Kray4660, SAP says the limit for arrays is 1,000 elements (values)
and I'm able to load and use over 400 elements (values) in a single array without a problem (all the arrays I'm working with actually contain 536 elements because I re-dimension them based on the length of the database field...

OLE DB to Microsoft SQL database
I have a database field "permissions" that is loaded with up to a 536 character string of "Y" or "N" with each position in the string representing a security state for different areas within an app (moronic, I know, but out of my control)

and the DSS will only work at an operator position.
The only way to program is with a 20L or winspm (available from AVAYA)

Pepperz this is probably to late, but "Base number with Ext" doesn't append extension to base, it replaces the last digits.
So with base number 1234567, ext 100 would show as 123-4100 to called party (if provider allows)
The correct base number would have to be 1234567890 to get 123 456-7100 for...

the card will allow you to backup programming, but not any messages, and you can only use it for like versions R4>R4 or R3>R3
as for installing software, if you have windows 7 professional, enterprise or ultimate, "XP mode" is a free download from Microsoft.

No. You need to go to avaya.com and download admin software each version is different
This is R4.0

And this is R3.0...
Windows xp mode will only work on windows 7 professional, enterprise and ultimate.
If you don't have one of those versions, you can use VirtualBox to build a windows XP virtual machine, you'll need XP install disc, and a valid activation code, you'll also need the extension pack for usb support...
Merlinman, I like the second pool because then the end users don't have to change how they dial, based on where they call, 9 (and the number) always routes to correct pool
VS
Local calls, dial 9(and the number).
Long distance calls, press special "long distance" button then dial number (don't...
PRI gives you sixteen tables to route numbers, simply use another table to match all incoming digits (4123), digits to delete will be 4, digits to add 555, set service to any. then the call will ring as at 555, and go to 555's voice mail.
It doesn't matter what order you set up your dial plan...
I thought you were trying to get all calls (including voice mail) from extension 123 to go to extension 555 ?
Do you need more than just extension 555 covering calls to 123? If not, the "loop around" is your best bet, if you do
then you could renumber a group (say 771) to 123, then set up 555...
Yes you could add the fax & alarm lines to the extensions in question but wouldn't the fax line ring on incoming faxes (make sure you set it as a no ring line)
you could also add them to pool 890 and bump the FRL up, then with toll restriction routing long distance to 890 only the users with a...
Loop it to a line port" means make a jumper cable to connect an incoming line port to a T/R extension port, then when the extension is called, the line rings
The jumper cable can be a RJ11,RJ14, or RJ25 on both sides but technically should have an RJ45 on the T/R side.
Only need two wires...
You can program a "coverage vms off" button, set the cover delay to one ring, then with coverage off (button lit), it would ring continually till answered, with coverage on, it should go to voicemail (AA if so programmed) after one ring.

on Magix, you can program a night service button on you operator's phones, I don't know if it works with duovoice though.

Depending on what version your using Remote Call Forwarding (RCF) should do what you need.

Telcomboy You must be talking real old, I found a old (1970's) bell phone, thought for sure it wouldn't work, or at least wouldn't ring, man was I surprised, works just fine :-)

If they are in pool 70, can't you just dial 9 to get an outside line without needing a programmed pool button ?
If you have two lines receiving calls, do you mean two copper lines with separate phone numbers ?
Or do you mean two extensions with pool 70 programmed on a button?
