Magix R4 with Merlin Legend Mail 1

I know it is not supported, but will this work? The client has a Legend R6, but needs delayed remote call forward. I know I can put a Magix R4 in a clamshell to get the feature, but they also have an 007MLM which I want to verify will work after the upgrade. Anyone know if it will work (in a Legend Cabinet)?

They have an R3 Legend, not an R6. Mistype there.
