    thanks for everybody's help. It turned out I had a bad port on the MSDL card. Now I can call to the avaya switch but the avaya cannot call my nortel extension,s. Is there a place that I have to change on the nortel side to allow the avaya to call my nortel extension's. thanks

    I verified with the Avaya provider. they are the network and I am the user. Both sides are ESS5. for test I tried to change my side to NET but LD 17did not give me the option to change. I tried to enable the Loop and when I enabled it start scrolling with the avove errors. Any help please. Thanks

    Tunk type connecting Nortel to Avaya

    so the way it is programed with DID will not work and both sides has to be Tie trunks. The Nortel side is the Network and We have the D channel as NI2. Since it is not allowing us to do Tie changing the D-channel to other the NI-2 any suggestion?. Thanks

    I am sorry I went and changed in LD 16 but when I went to Ld 21 to print the route again to check it is still TARG 01 and not 0. I dont know why it did not take the 0. Am I doing somthing wrong by not allowing me to change?. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated

    I have the need to allow all users to dial access code to a Tie trunk between 2 PBX's. At this point some users can and some cannot. There is no way of changing all users phones the NCOS. Is there a way of doing it on the trunk?whwere can I go to program it?. Thanks in advance.

    If I have to dial 4 digits access code and 4 digit extensions there is no point of going to all the trouble of joining the 2 pbx's and it will not be acceptd by the Management. Any suggestions please?. Thanks
