Nbtstat -a won't work because they are not signing onto the domain. They are cancelling past that part. I have the Mac address, but it is not one of our issued computers. I need to track what port they are connecting to.
I use dhcp on a windows 2000 advanced server with Cisco switches.
What is a good cheap software that will allow me to track a dhcp address to a switch port?
Thanks
All port scan attack. Event id 15105. I can't find any info on this in technet.
It is coming from an IP address of my ISP.
Windows 2000 advanced server running ISA 2000.
Yes, I downloaded them from hp.
The machine that is sharing is a Win 95. But I also have 5 other Windows 2000 machines printing to it just fine.
Even to open properties takes a long time.
A windows 2000 pro is connecting to a shared printer. Printing 1 page takes 1/2 to print.
I have deleted the printer, removed the printer from the registry and then readded the printer. It still prints slow.
Any other printer prints fine. Its just this one. THe most important one.
Help.
We have 600 identical laptops. It is just these 2. They did pass the HCL. They were Win98 with a clean install of XP put on them. Not an upgrade.
Going into safe mode does the same thing. It reboots before it acutally gets into windows.
I have 2 laptops with XP Pro. During the boot they blue screen. The blue screen flashes by so fast you can't get any error messages. Then is restarts. It keep doing this over and over.
Any ideas?
safe mode gives me the same error. Recovery will not work because I use sysprep, when you use sysprep it will not accept the admin password. A flaw.
It appears that I am looking at 3rd party software to help me out. I run sysprep on over 600 laptops.
Thanks
A xp laptop with ntfs. On the boot, I get the following error: A disk read error occurred ctrl alt del to reboot.
Reboot takes me back to the same error. I need to atleast copy off some files.
Any help would be appreciated
