shared printer prints slow

A windows 2000 pro is connecting to a shared printer. Printing 1 page takes 1/2 to print.

I have deleted the printer, removed the printer from the registry and then readded the printer. It still prints slow.

Any other printer prints fine. Its just this one. THe most important one.

Help.

Yes, I downloaded them from hp.
The machine that is sharing is a Win 95. But I also have 5 other Windows 2000 machines printing to it just fine.

Even to open properties takes a long time.

I should also tell you it worked fine until today. The user claim to have made no changes.

there is in the hp a software to uninstall the printer ..
so I recommend to uninstall the printer , then reinstall it again ! may be there s some corruption in the registry ! Mohamed Farid

There is not a uninstall. I checked add/remove program.
