Great tip ! I'll use the hex-style as additional security ! After installing ie sp1 the explorer doesn't show the username and password anymore(even when typed in url-line [after pressing enter]) !!! Thanks !

found a way by myself. so for others who have the same problem: i deleted the hole line define(`LOCAL_RELAY', `local:localhost')dnl , because sendmail is using local by default for local_relay then it worked fine ! sascha
