I've held off upgrading our 1000's to V5, is it stable? Anyone had any issues?

I have been using it since its release and have no problems and am very impressed with the improvements.

They did have some problems with the http proxy and smtp proxy, but those issues were adressed in SP1. The only problems I have had have been with Exchange 2000.

Hi!
We are running a Firebox II , and it's been upgraded into V5 then SP 1. It solved lots of probs, for ex. when i created a MUVPN, the VPN tunnels with SOHO were crashing...
Though a nice release to me.

I had a few email issues with v5, but just installed V6 and the issues were fixed. Our network requirements for certain clients can get very complicated when dealing with email, and V6 has worked great. Our HTTP proxy issues were fixed with V6 as well. I hope everyone else has good luck with this new release, as I have. I like V6 better that V5.

NOTE: SMTP and ESMTP had problems with certain ISP networks like AOL, but version 6 fixed the problem. I had no issues with SW Bell, Quest, Global, MSN, ect..., but good old Aol has to be different, which some of our clients on the road used to access our email on-line system and database, but V6 solved all issues.

Had serious issues with http proxy on v5 but just installed v6 today and all is well now!!

Thanks, I've now installed V5 & SP1 and appear to have a few issue, whith what appears to be a bug causing the incorrect rule denying access, so straight onto V6 I think

SP1 for v6 is due out soon as well. I am waiting for that before upgrading from v5SP1 (which I have no problems with).

I am also always waitung for the first service pack before upgrading. seems to be a good policy. also no problems with v5SP1.
