hi,

i'm a real linux-beginner !

till yesterday i could enter "sendmail -bt adress" to check the quality of email-adresses !

now (suse-)linux opens a newline but doesn't execute the command, even if i enter the full path (/sbin/lib/sendmail).

also, if i type at root-directory "find . -name sendmail" a new line is opened and nothing happens (only way to exit seems to be ctrl + c). when i go to a subdirectory the find command works !

any ideas/tips ?

thanks in advance

For find command :
# find . -name sendmail -print
You need to use -print to see the searching result.
good luck

thanks !

suddenly everthing is o.k.

i didn't change anything besides a few reboots !

seems as if there's a little bit of windows
in suse linux ;-)

Not a chance of that.
But you are admittedly new to linux.
In six months you will know a dozen ways you could have
tested and at least one solution for most problems that
does not involve a reboot.
