    Is there a way to use XSL to do a multi-layer lookup

    Here is an example of the XML input file I will receive: Note: The example is fictious but illustrates the point Note: The flat structure is something I can't change Note: Hopefully not too many typos since I am making this up <OrderData> <Vendor> <ID>1</ID> <Name>Vendor X</Name> </Vendor>...

    Slow network performance

    Someone here recommended trying setting the network card Link to AutoDetect rather than 100/full. Problem Solved! But ... it was set to 100/full because on a machine I had before the card was not detecting the network properly and folding back to 10MBit. Darned if you do, darned if you don't.

    Slow network performance

    I got a new work laptop (HP EliteBook). I have gotten everything setup and loaded but noticed yesterday when I was copying a large file from the network that the network speed was pathetic. I did an Internet Speed Test to confirm and using the same network cable I got 40MBit download for my...

    XP Repair Reinstall won't accept valid &quot;Product Key&quot;

    I considered calling Dell to get a new OEM CD as an option but that would have taken more time that I had. I guess I could always call Dell to see; but, I should know by early next week if our new pastor (who the laptop belongs to) can find the OEM CD at his house in PA.

    XP Repair Reinstall won't accept valid &quot;Product Key&quot;

    I have a retail CD and key that match (from MSDN). So does it also check the key on the hard drive so I need a 3-way match. If that is the case, is there any way to kill/change the key on the hard drive so I can get past this? I can boot Knoppix to make simple changes.

I am trying to do an XP repair install to resolve a corrupt OS that was hit by a nasty Trojan/virus that triggered Norton to remove several key OS components (userinit.exe, exporer.exe, ...). Bill, First, regarding "Shared Account between work and home =gdqk7b4". If your work PC is on a Domain I would recommend against setting up an account on your home PC with that same name. I know that sounds like the right thing to do, but I have had problems with getting that to work. It...

    Bill, Your IP config seems fine. Good to hear you are pinging now. Couple of questions/notes: I have had password sync problems if you are trying to access a PC outside your domain if that PC has an account with the same name as you are logged in on the pc that is in a domain. I.E. your...

    Bill, Ah but the DOS window does support cut-and-paste but it is somewhat hidden. In the upper-left corner of the dos window is a C: Icon. Click on that and you will get a menu list that includes a &quot;menu>&quot; pull-out. From the pull-out you can choose &quot;mark&quot; and drag a box...
